Wow! A good response to my first question. I know it seems a bit daft asking the obvious but when you are quitting anything helps to keep going. Any ex-smoker will tell you just how hard it is. Anyone hoping to quit should cold turkey (nicotine replacement is not ideal) and as suggested have a run. I have also found a pint of water helps. The enthusiasm and support on this site is really heartening and I WILL be evidence of how good quitting can be for you. Enjoying the new health regime. Its amazing how much better I feel. And at 23 I hope I haven't done too much damage already. Thanks one and all for the encouragement!
