I recently tore my rotator cuff in my shoulder due to football and i am recovering right now. Is there any way of working the chest without using weights... except pushups.

Hmmmm in my opinion you should rather let your shoulder recover and NOT work the chest (since the chest is attached to the shoulder muscles...)
Patience and you'll be okey fast!

I agree with Nina. Rest up as you'll need your rotator cuff for many upper body exercises.

If you do train your chest. Make sure it's with very light weights and that you go super slow to not hurt your shoulder and to get some kind of chest workout.
I've always switched to a super slow/low weight workout when I injur myself. It still gives me a good workout without worsening the injury.
Just make sure you don't worsen yourself. If you think it will, then just let it heal. I do know that total inactivity is worse for a shoulder injury and will make it stiffen up and then it'll take alot longer to recouperate.
Seek some advice from a physio therapist.

Let your shoulder heal, I am not sure of your age but assume you are yonge, High school, college age. You will have lots of time to train your chest once you have healed. I can show you lots of guys with really impresive scars from surgery because they did not let thier shoulders heal now in thier 30's and 40's thier limited in mobility.

I agree, but if he's anything like, then it's real hard to totally stop training and stay idle.
