robert is right, also this exercise (cheat curls) is not for the begininer. Rather a beginner ( if you are not one but more advanced i am sorry LOL) should stay witht he basics like barbell curls, dumbbell curls and preacher curls. Cheating is done to just shock the bis not to actually use them as a regualr means of workingout. Hope this helps!

The focus with cheat curls is on the negative. Basically, you use everything you have to curl the bar, but the focus is to slowly lower the bar back down. This, in fact, puts more emphasis on the contracting the muscle...if done correctly.
