What do you guys think of the Cathe Friedrich DVD's? I like the routines here but just prefer to work out to a DVD and have a visual. I just ordered her Pyramid tape but it seems as if she has a few weight lifting tapes to choose from.

I agree - I hate gimmicky training DVD's also and was hesitant as it seems she is the queen of all things fitness - kickboxing, aerobics, cardio, pilates, etc. It was one of the few weight training videos I could find and the previews on the site (cathe.com) did not make her seem annoying at all - just wondering if that was truly the case. Will let you know how it works out.
Thank you!

Of all the people I've ever seen on TV, I've loved her workouts the most. She uses real weights, meaning she encourages you to do the most you can as well as encouraging you to progress if you can. The routines are well thought out and flow smoothly.
I don't know how she is in other areas, but for weight training, she's great.

I agree - I wanted to try it before commenting further but I really liked using her tape. She is straight forward in her approach and keeps me going at a nice even pace. It is also nice to see the deadlift and others demonstrated rather than running back and forth to the computer and/or a book.
