Hi - I would appreciate someone's advice. I am trying to lose weight and tone up. Should I do cardio before weights or vice versa? I heard different opinions. Thanks

If you are not looking for big mass gains, there is nothing wrong with doing your cardio first. great way to warm up. Some might dis agree but works for me and others.

I would always and do always do my weights first. The benefits of a good weight training far outway any caloric expenditure from cardio.

I would do a bit of both..I use to do cardio/weights/cardio.. I found that cardio would help me warm up and get my heart rate going.then do weights, then cardio at the end..I found it a more efficient way of working out

Light cardio for a warmup is fine. The optimal word is light, just to get some the body warm, not a cardio workout.
