Hi.
I am currently trying to lose weight, but not at the expense of losing my lower body. I tend to lose most of the weight in my legs and glutes when I run, so I wondering if there are any other cardio workouts that I can do to lose weight, but not lose my shape. I really don't have access to machines, so I am more interested in home videos. Something intense to make me sweat. I already have lower body videos with squats, lunges, etc, so I don't need that. Just a pure cardio video that I can do in my living room. Thanks for any help!

For upper body cardio, such things as Tae Bo, Shadow Boxing, and the like are wonderful.
If you have a Playstation 2, you could look at purchasing DDR Max2: Dance, Dance Revolution. (Claim that it's for the kids.) I have found that to be a fun cardio workout that the family can do together. If you have two dance pads, then you can take turns with two people dancing at a time. Then take a break for one round and jump back in. There are training sessions built into the game that start as easy as UP 2 3 4 UP 2 3 4. (If you are musical in nature, you'll understand that.)
