I am 5-7, 140 pds. Definately said to eat 2200 calories a day. I usually only eat about 1500 a day right now (course, im not really excercising!) do i really need to eat that much? Wont i GAIN weight? confused...
Your current weight sounds about right for your hieght. 1500 calories probably is a bit low, especially once you get more active. However, calories clculated on this site tend to be on the high side. I would estimate that you should probably be taking in closer to 1800-2000 calories per day, from healthy food sources like lean protien, complex carbs and healthy fats. What are your goals...wt loss? building muscle?
