I am using a Bowflex for most of my workout. My question is, If I'm using 20 lbs. on the bowflex, how many lbs. would that be if it were free weights/ dead weight?
I know 20 pounds on the bowflex can't equal 20 pounds dead weight.

i think it depends on how old it is and how much it has been used.

It's not old at all, used maybe 3 times before I got it.

it depends on how close the bar's end touches the other end
at least according to the sales guy I talked too (he talked me out of it) if the ends touch then you are doing 20 lbs - most people only do half of that amount & then that is only good for about 6 to 9 months of use
