Hey Guys,
I just entered the Body Transformation Competition being hosted by the gym that I attend and since this is technically my first one I will be needing all kinds of advice. I will keep you all updated. The official start date is February 3, 2003. Right now I weigh 179 lbs and am 5'4" in height. I have a 36-34 in waist and 42" in hips. When I finish my measurements I'll get back with you. I mainly want to lose fat and tone up the muscle that I already have. I look forward to hearing your replys and wish me luck, I'm gonna need all I can get :)LOL!

Let me be the first to wish you all the luck in the world! Your attitude is great, you can and will do well! By all means, keep us posted. Sometimes something like that is what we need to keep us going, motivational factor so to speak. I know I make my best accomplishments when I have a goal in site. Best of luck to you again.

That's great Marcy!!!
Okey the start date we know what about the dead line? How long time do you have and what is expecting of you?

You know what you can do? You can keep a journal in here and write down your hard work etc which can help inspire and motivate everybody!!!

All the very best luck!

Hey Guys,
I really don't know what is expected of us. I guess they are going to see who loses the most weight and inches and stuff and I guess the person who makes the most progress will be the winner. I really want to win not only b/c of the fact that the 1st place prize is a 1 year free membership to Gold's Gym but because of how I will look when I am finished. That is the real prize. Lastly I don't remember the end date but I will figure it out and let ya'll know.

Hey Ya'll,
The contest starts on Feb 3rd and lasts 8 weeks. I think the exact date is March 21st. Before and After pics will be taken, body fat % will be measured and they will weigh all the contestants. And I think that male and female are competing against each other. And many thanks to Shaolin for the site. I really like it. It is real easy to follow also. Gotta go. Take care all.

It's great to have this sort of motivation. You know that lots of other people will be trying to win as well so if one day you feel tired and grumpy then just think of the others and you'll be back on the road again!! (o;

All the very best luck to you and we'll be following you!!

Hey Ya'll,
I have a question on diet. I have been keeping up with what I eat day to day for the past week and I have been trying to get 1500 calories. However, I am only averaging about 700 calories a day. What is going on? My eating habits have not changed any since I have been trying to lose weight which has been about 8 months. If I am not eating alot of junk food (meaning candy bars, fast food, etc...) why haven't I lost more weight and inches? My main meal is supper, if I eat lunch it is a salad or some kind of sandwhich on sugar-free whole wheat toast, and I eat a bowl of multi-grain cheerios every morning for breakfast. Please help me figure out something! Untill then!

If you are only consuming 700 calories, your body will think it's starving and it'll try to hold on to the fat. Follow ravenwolf's advice.
