ok i'm pretty average size. i'm working out and doing CV about 3-4 times a week. Now i've got this "tire" around my waist. i know CV builds lean muscle and that you need to eat right after w/o but the specs on eating like work off more calories than you intake sketchy. i do a little over 300 cal's on CV not sure how much i do lifting. and 300 cal's is nothing so i donno how to do that. and should i just bulk up my diet w/ protein or what? i'm kinda looking for specifics so feel free to ask Q's, i really wanna get cut, thanks.

what type of weight training are you doing? If you could be more specific we might be able to help you out a bit more.

more clarity here: i'm looking to get definintion, get cut, only looking to bulk up a little not too much. I know getting definition is from lossing bodyfat, and i don't know what my BF% is, but i want to lose BF big time! i keep reading that diet is how to lose BF but i donno how to shape a diet: more protein? how many calories? etc. etc. plz help!

Pick a program from freetrainers - it will help you get results.
To figure out your caloric needs you need to track what you are taking in for a week or so and get an average caloric intake, then you can adjust up or down from there.

This has been discussed so many times...

Check out bb1fit's diet thread in the nutrtion forum, it may help.

usually if you creat a 550 a day deficit - 200 from diet and 300 from training, you should lose 1-2 pounds a week.
