how much fat should I expect to gain during mass training? I know i should expect some since i'll be taking in so many calories, I'm just not sure what's normal. What percent should my bodyfat go up by a month?

percentage.. i dont know.
what i can tell you is that in order not to gain much fat, you need to go slowly increasing your caloric intake. that is to say, if you gain 5 pounds every week, i think you better eat less since that 5 pounds wont be muscle:big_smile:
so check your weight weekly

The cleaner you eat, the less chance of fat accumulation. But bear in mind, anything over your maintenance calories can(and can, not will is the optimal word) be stored as fat.
A caloric surplus will always result in some added fat. Something you might consider, is bulking/cutting phases. Will go a long way toward keeping those nasty love handles in check.
