I recently just started working out and watching my diet about 3 months ago. I was thinking of getting a subscription to mens health and fitness magazine. Not a bodybuilding magazine because i don't wanna be that big. Just a magazine that has good course of information and maybe gives you some excercise regime's that work. For example i just got that July edition of Men's Fitness and saw it has LL Cool J on the cover and it has what his workout consists of and it goes into great detail. Another article in the magazine is how to get bigger arms in half the time. These articles are very appealing to me and just wanted to knowwhat everyone else thinks is the best magazine to get a year subscription of. Thanks

Muscle media is not bad. They have really good receipes. I normally only get it maybe 3 times per year, though. all of the mags are normally a waste of money. I think they are nothing more then a collection of AD's for products. If you feel as though you must buy one I would suggest MM.

I think Men's Health is better than Men's Fitness. I've subscribed to both. Men's Health is more expensive, but I think they have better and more information. But I also think they're arrogant and have gotten cheesey with their sex articles; though I believe sex is an important part of good health. I read mine at the library and copy the articles I think are keepers.

M uscle Media is an excellent magazine, not cheesy or sexist or full of crap. They actually evaluate the products they wil run advertisements for for validity. They tend to get a bit heavy on the EAS endorsement, but if you owned a good supplement company and a magazine, wouldn't you do the same?
Men's Health is a pretty good one, also, lots of good basic info.
Maybe you should look into a couple of good books on the subject? Fitness for Dummies (no insult intended) or Bill Pearls Shape Up! are godd starters, lots of good basic info for the average guy who wants to behealthier and fitter, but not necesarily look like Arnold.

Most of those mags are but mouthpieces for supplement companies anymore. You can find out lots more for free on the net. Many emags you can get for free with some great info. "free" is the optimal word, and more information.
