Just wondering what is best to eat before and after workouts. I usually do my weights or cardio first thing in the morning and I was just wondering what I should be eating for breakfast.
I'm also curious about what to eat before bed (carbs are a no-no, right?) I need some suggestions to fit in with my high protein/low carb/low fat diet. Thanks!

Before workouts I like to take in some good carbs, while I like to take high quality fast absorbing whey protein. As for carbs at night...yeah that's a no no for someone trying to lose weight.

I feel like puking if I eat before a workout because I like to train at full intensity. Thus, I take in my carbs at night but not after, say, 7:00 p.m. Of course, I load up on whey protein, Glutamine, and creatine after the workout.

if you workout on an empty tummy you'll burn more cal's. I drink 2 glasses of water then workout. Afterwork out take shower then workout. I eat breakfast about 45-60 min's after I have finished working out. I'm doing this to lose weight, so if you are trying to bulk up you may want to drink a shake right after working out.

You don't have to eat right before a workout, most don't, but an hour, hour and a half before you should consume some carbs and protein. The sooner you can consume a high protein drink or meal after a workout, the better. Then a meal with carbs and protein an hour later. Before bed a small high protein meal like cottage cheese. This is the most common advice I have found here on ft.

k-bomb, it would help greatly if you had a profile so we could look to see what your goals are. This will go a long way toward determining for you what to eat before and after training. If you are trying to gain for instance it is different than if you are trying to burn fat/lose weight. Azredhead57 is pretty much right on the money for someone trying to gain. There are other options depending on how into gaining you are, then it gets totally different if you are trying to lose/burn fat.
