I don't know about that man. Unless it has some springs in it or something, I would think that a lot of the height you get is due to your body makeup itself. Hope you get the answer you're looking for.

dude that's a load of crap....dont fall for this bs...
you want to gain 3-4 inches in vert? then start doing snatches, powercleans, and jump squats....(along with deadlifts and squats)....you really think that any athlete performs better because of the shoes? NO...it's just a way to get ad money for them...and to get free stuff from these shoe companies...why the hell isnt every basketball player wearing these shoes?
a nice form fitting light shoe is all you need...

well believe it or not the original Jordans from Nike actually did make Mike jump higher and run faster. They also were designed especially for him by scientist and engineers. So unless you got a team of scientist and engineers working for you, you won't get results from shoes. Oh there is a shoe that has micro chips inside the shoe to adjust the cushioning constantly as your running/walking for superb comfort.
One shoe will add up to 36" or something like that to your vert. I believe the company's name is "Strength" it's a training shoe. It works wonders for short people who play basket ball like Spud Webb who won a dunk championship at only 5'6".

lmao....first off no those shoes dont add 3 feet to your vertical....second those are 'training' shoes with raised front part of the shoe where heel is hanging off...and I got a pair of a type of those shoes....they help add a few inches at best in them consistantly....though I have jumped higher in regular shoes....
you know how spud webb jumped so high? he had a huge vertical....just look at street ball legends now like High Rise and some others....they have over 60"...that's right 60...verts.....they can probably dunk on a 12 or higher foot rim...and no it's not their shoes that get them that high....for them it's their genetic make up...the make up of their muscles....
