I got kinda nervous about taking the week off, worried that i wouldn't get back into it... Soooo monday i overslept (had a very rough saturday night and was still recovering) and tuesday finally got up and headed back to the gym... and I wanted to sleep sooo bad today...but trucked there again, so i think im getting back into it... phew.. Im finding that im lifting more actually thats normal right?? i made a gain of 10lbs in my weights for back. Also Im wondering if it tweeks your metabolism when you start up again because after tuesday my first day back working out, and my run. later on in the day, i think i was more hungury and ate more.. and i noticed this morning after working out im eating more too....
Yeah, your body probably benefitted from the extra recovery time - you return much fresher after a break every 3 - 6 months.
It may have tweaked your metabolism just because your body was getting used to not working out...
