I want to build muscle and burn the fat around my waist and belly. To build muscle I know I have to eat all the good stuff, but how many calories do I need to eat?. And one more thing;I know that lifting heavy will build muscle, but will this lifting burn some of the fat too?:(

as you build muscle you will burn more calories
check out the tabs at the top
the fitness plan will help you decide what execrises to do while the Nutritional plan will say how many calories & what type you need

to put on a lb of muscle a week you need to take in however many calories your base metabolic rate is and then add about 500 to that. Lifting heavy will build muscle mass which in turn will boost your metabolism, burning fat.
