Am i supposed to eat before my workout?

i dunno what to do. some people say not to eat and some people say eat so i just need some professional advice

You always should have some "fuel" before your workout. Only under very special circumstances would you work out on an empty stomach. (weights never).

For cardio, I need at least 3 hours of not eating to avoid cramping up (you can probably get away with as little as 90 minutes, less if it's light cardio), but for weights you definitely want something both before and after.
