Greeting to all,

I have been working out now for almost two years, I’m 37, 162 lb. I do some split-weight lifting for body toning up to five days per week.
Also, every time I step in the gym I dedicate time to the aerobic exercise like: running, rowing, trekking.
Now, considering that I intent to do aerobic for healthy benefits, I have a question about the time used for it in concurrence with my workout schedules.

Monday: run 40min,
Tuesday: step 10min,
Wednesday: rowing 20min
Friday: 10min Trek
Saturday: 15min trek

Sometimes more and sometimes less, however. Do you think that It would be more valuable (healthier) to do aerobics for 3 times in a week for 30min each or is it more valuable 5 times weekly at a lesser extend of time like I described in my schedules? Opinions welcome.
Thank you.

I would think that both can work depending on the intensity. Of course there are lots of data and studies that prove that 3 times a week at 30 mins is all you need to do. Here is what you can do....you already have done it your way, try the other. Do cardio 3 times a week for 30 mins and at a good pace. Then also hit the weights harder and a little heavier and see what happens...

Those who lift understand it. Those who do not, think we are crazy!
