Active job making workouts suffer?

Hello!
I would really appreciate it if anyone had any thoughts on this!! While I was a student and working at a desk job where I sad all day long then I ran 5 miles every day at about 8 minute miles.....I had plenty of energy after sitting all day. Now I am a preschool teacher and I am very active at work...I hardly sit down and there is a lot of lifting,dancing, etc. By the time I am done with work, I am pooped. I an manage about 2 miles a day at about 10 minutes. I am very depressed because I have fallen so far back. What kind of workout plan would be realistic for me (miles, days per week?). I know this is kind of a difficult question, but any thoughts would be extremely helpful!!! Thanks so much!

You would probably benefit greatly from a HIIT type workout. This will help to build your endurance.

It is not at all surprising what you are going through, as your calorie expenditure is of course higher these days. A HIIT workout will help.
