How often should one take a break from training? I know if you are over training a break is good. But in general is it good to take short breaks and for how long? I find it hard to take a week off for vacation!!! (Too many hits to the head with a dumbell!!!!)

Personally, I like 1 week off after about 3 months on, roughly.

I take about 1 day each month and do something just for the fun of it.

if you over trained- definitely you MUST take a break - probaly a good long break - and in normal case like say rev8ball, 1 week after 3 months - i do it this same way
