I just did that, well ok 30 lbs in 15 weeks. Here is what worked for me, lift 4 days a week following the F/T schedule to the letter. I didn't miss many workouts, cardio 6 times per week.
Bb1fit is correct, a daily calorie deficet is your goal. I ate cleanly, balanced healthy choices, fruit+veggies, fish, lean meats, remember to limit daily fat intake, I watched carbs too (diabetic thing..) Drink lots of H2O. For suppliments one daily multi-vitamin and low carb (no fat) protien shake. Pay attention to portion size. I tracked calories consumed daily on the F/T site, very handy tool. It was trial and error to start until I "felt" right. 1400 per day was too low, 1700-1900 felt right. I don't have an eat anything you want or "cheat" day. I really don't miss many foods at all.
Anyway, your goal is very realistic so get to work and good luck.
