Ok, I've just started my first offical training program through this site, even though I've been training for a few years now.

I'm doing the Advanced mass gain routine and my reps look like this:

Set Reps
1 20
2 8
3 6
4 4

20 Reps? I've never seen any training program for mass that wants you to do 20 reps. It's always been high weight, 6-8 reps.

So what gives?

That is a warm up set. You should not just just into the heavy weights cold, you could tear a muscle.

Yeah, I just started (with FT) as well and I had a 16 repper at the top of each excercise. I figured it must be the warm-up set. However, my leg workout is much more intense with FT, and I swear it's the 16-rep warm-up and the following 12er. I guess I didn't warmup as much in the past...
