I haven't worked out in a while and I'm starting back up and when I was working out I was doing 100 rep sets, does anyone do this exercise method anymore? I didn't do them all the time but when I needed a change I would do them, I got a great pump from them.

I've heard of pro bodybuilder krisna dim once doing 70 rep sets for his legs or something, but barely do u see people going over 20 reps. I personally wouldnt recommend it. Thats just too much. But you never know. I myself, i barely ever go over 20 reps, except in abs, but i can still get a good pump.

I find its a good way to shock the system if you hit a minor plateu.

Dim as kev pointed out said in flex he uses 70 reps for all his exercises...it's his perfect rep range...
It might be a good way to change things up and shock muscles...but you're training slow twitch muscles mostly...and mostly for endurance....
to train for mass go 4-8 reps on heavy sets
1-5 reps for power/strength goals....check powerlifting thread for mroe info

For a shock, a blitz like this might be appropriate, but I would not do it often.
