I know cardio questions have been beaten into the ground but i couldn't find anything on eating before cardio and how long to wait after eating to do cardio. I have been waitng about 1 1/2 hour to 2 hours before doing cardio. I usually eat some good carbs from oatmeal white rice or whole wheat pasta and some good protein. Thanks

Fruit or yogurt with fruit would be ok, that would give you more intensity, if you are trying to burn fat.

First off white rice is not "good carbs".
Cardio is very simple if you are not severely overweight. Treat it like you would your workout. Have your normal pre workout meal. Then after cardio, wait about 30-45 minutes and have a lean protein source, fibrous veggies and even a fibrous carb if you like, or if max fat loss is your goal, have some healthy fats(EFA's). You want nothing to raise insulin levels, this is key in keeping any lypolysis you may have achieved through your cardio intact for the maximum amount of time. Then let your diet do the rest of the work.

White rice is a complex carb correct bb1? I have been eating because i saw it on your bodybuilders grocery list. Should i stop eating white rice and switch to something else? I have been eating baked beens and ground beef about 30 min. after cardio which you told me was a good meal ton have after cardio should i throw some broccolli in there to get some fibrous carbs?...or is what i'm doing now good enough? olive contains EFA's correct?
