posted again from beginners section, got no response:
G'day all,
It's been a month since I started this phase of weight training (ive lifted in the past without a strict training regime).
There has been essentially no change in the amounts I am lifting. I feel that I am paying due attention to diet and sleep as well as my workouts.
Should I be concerned that I have not experienced any sort of increases in the weights I'm lifting? Thanks.

Well one month isn't a very long time....... You should give your body a little more time before being sure or not of your results (at least 6-8 weeks).
How often do you train? (do you recover completely in between every work out?)

hi Philia,
I train each muscle about once every 5-6 days. Thanks, I'll keep at it :)

Hey KageanRage.. A while back I was feeling much like yourself. I didn't feel like I was getting anywhere.. my weights had been set the same for a while. Then one day I decided to try upping them a bit... and found that I could! I had given myself a mental block of sorts. I had my bench set at 120lbs for a couple months... then once I broke my mental block upped them to 160 lbs. (yeh quite a jump to do overnight) I don't want to give advise which could get you hurt of course. But challenge yourself and see what happens. Good luck and keep at it!
