I am new to FT and I absolutley love the site... but I am having some reasoning difficulties. I have always been told in my training that training opposing muscles on the same day was bad (ie. bi's and tri's). However in the "Weight Loss & Definition Training" course and chosen for 4 days of working out it does exactly that along with pairing the back and front of the thighs. Perhaps my reasoning is off, but either way I need help. Thank you.

Working the antagonistic or opposite muscles together in superset is NOT bad at all...... (funny that somebody should say that)
Actually it help the other muscle recover a lot faster (when you're working the biceps the triceps do the active recovering etc)

Don't worry, it's just another way of working out. As I said, nothing bad about that.

It works for me. I actually lost more fat faster/gained more muscle faster in my arms once I started training bi's/tri's together.

wow, thank you. I figured it was probably just a myth that someone had told me and have been followwing the routine exactly. I have also found that my arms are developing faster. Thank you for the input!!
