I wish I knew... about all I do to get my abs to show is start eating more meat than anything else (which is what I do in college and usually my body fat % drops A LITTLE).. I also do my abs 3 times a week and try to switch up things every now an again.. stuff like the ft exercises.. but if those don't work I throw in a few things extra of my own.. or a few extra sets or reps.. sometimes I also try to burn em up by doing an easy exercise first to wear them out (like maybe some leg tucks) then a harder exercise to blast them (like hanging leg raises).. on top of that sometimes I go out for a run and so on so the cardio will help keep me level.. but here at home I eat too many carbs and they usually get covered up.. 3x a week.. go slow.. try to use good form.. and hold off a second on the top of movements like at the top of hanging leg rasies (i don't know about anyone else but this is ultra hard for me) or crunches.. I THINK this stuff works better then just going fast and packing on weight as my brother seems to believe in just going fast and cranking the reps out even with a plate in his hands.. his abs don't seem as well along... and the diet part is major.. i try to eat well (though thats going all wrong lately) while my brother usually eats a lot of pizza and other crap.. so his are worse off than mine... don't forget to vary things a lot.. but do things your comfortable with.. like I do some side crunches which really help me hit my obliques but I hate russian twists...
I think I wrote something similar to this in another post but I can't find it... this link is good too for some ab exercises but I haven't even tried half of these..
I like the knee to side exercise for my obliques the best.. and if you throw in a reverse curl (watch the animated picture) with a leg lift and some hanging leg raises that should be killer on your lower abs...
Abs is always a tuff question and i'm not sure what to say... vary a lot.. use good form.. and make sure your going for 'quality' not 'quantity' reps when working them...
