Well here is what my goal is. I want to put on some weight but also lose a little fat. Rather than just eating a set number of calories each day how does this sound? On my weight days I eat high calories to gain some muscle(making my metabolism pretty fast). Then on my cardio days i eat low calories to lose fat but my metabolism will still be fast from the high calorie day making it easier to lose fat. I know i said a lot but please tell me if this could be effective?

Unfortunately, your metabolism doesn't work that way. In actuality, as you weight train, your metabolism increases as you gain lean muscle mass. Therefore, your metabolism does not lower on days you are not weight training.
Anyway, good try! However, you'll have to do one or the other (put on weight or lose fat), preferrably gain weight first, then lose the fat on the cutting phase.
Good luck!

But it's true that if you try to loose weight then eat less carbs on your non work out days. Keep your protein intake the same.
