i only weigh 150lbs. right now and i want to gain some mass, but i dont want to lose my flexablitity. Will doing stretches and stuff allow me to be flexable but at the same time fairly big?

get into the habit of stretching every day or at least 3-4 times a week. it doesn't matter how big you get, as long as you keep stretching, you'll keep your flexiblity. just watch bodybuilders doing their routines. they are still able to do the splits. Good luck.

Yes building muscles and then loosing your flexability is just an old myth and not true.

Jawsqb has it all right.

Hello Magensha,

Being a semi-professional wrestler, and heavily into the martial arts, flexability along with physique is crucial for me. I see a lot of the guys, great bodies, but no flexability at all.

You have been given some good advice already. If I was you I'd be stretching every day for a good 15 minutes, and when your training stretch before you train, and also after you train.

A lot of bodybuilders etc put so much time and effort into their pre workout stretch, but totally do not even consider a post workout stretch. This is crucial, and is a sure fire way to stay/become flexible.
