What specific programs are you talking about Dilan?I have been lifting for years and now am into my 9th week of the 12 week mass program here at ft and it ROCKS! I have made good strong gains, and highly suggest it if you want to pack on some lbs. I am at about 195, and started the program weighing 183. -------------- BQ AMERICAN MADE |

My problem is that I don't know where to start. I was thinking of getting my measurements and body fat recorded and see from there? I know I want to get rid of some fat that has accumalated. I am just unsure to try the fat loss program. It is the nutrition that is the hardest part for me. |

Diet is one of the hardest things to get your arms around. It depends on your goals, and how much fat you have to lose. I lost 20lbs, but then went into mass. Since I didn't keep losing weight I kinda felt like a wasn't acheiving. However I have gained a good amount of size in overall muscle, soo... -------------- Practice does NOT make perfect. Provided you are consistent with your weight training and diet, you'll not put on too much fat. And, you'll welcome your weight gain as it will be mostly lean muscle.Again, this all depends on your diet and training schedule. Good luck... -------------- **_Robert_** Pain is temporary; glory is forever! |

Okay, bear in mind this is different for everyone depending on metabolism etc. I actually have a really tough time eating the caloric intake recommended by ft. 5200 calories a day. I usually eat at least 4000. So I have not been gaining as much excess fat as I would if I followed the program to a "t". At most I have gained back 5lbs this way. The only thing I can recommend is eat regularly, (at least every 3 hours), drink tons of water, and cardio, cardio, cardio. You'll start dropping weight like crazy. Once you get a good feel for how to do it, losing any excess from a mass program is cake. -------------- Practice does NOT make perfect. Perfect practice does. |

I guess mass/and cardio aren't exactly a match right?I was thinking of trying... 3000 calories a day,,,high protein, high carbs, low fat. Mass exercises and do cardio like three days a week. Do you think that would work or is that defeating the purpose?? |

No. I mean the first thing is really to know that there are no absolutes really. You could do mass and cardio, but most people don't. The only way to gain mass is to eat more calories than you use, and by doing cardio, you're burning waay more calories. Essentially making your own life harder. So if you want to do mass, do mass first. Then switch to lighter weights, higher reps for definition, then do cardio. But you might need to do a little cardio depening on what kind of shape your in to start with. If you are reasonably healthy than you should be fine doing mass. -------------- Practice does NOT make perfect. Perfect practice does. |

I did cardio and mass for a while some time back with tremendous results. Then I hit my plateau and well that brings me to here.....That is why I am so confused. |

Stick with mass then. Also sign up for the ft 12 week mass. It's designed for breaking plateaus. -------------- Practice does NOT make perfect. Perfect practice does. |

This program is great and it does work. I completed one full program. Along with my diet, I lost about 15 pounds the first 8 weeks. I am more familiar with the exercises and started to train without the program, but have decided to sign up for another one myself. Good luck and hope you see the results you want.-------------- Lisa |

There's my pics.. though i'm very small.. the programs helped me develop what I have on me.. but with the right supplements and dieting you could be huuuuge.. like cain.. once he finishes his cut he'll probably be a great ft example.. |
