I have been following my exercise plan completely, and i feel it's going rather qwll. My question is when to incorporate cardio. Should I do this before or after weight training. I know it's best to do it in the morning, but at the moment I am working out after 4:30pm. Please advise.
Cheers,
Sidney

After weight training, you will be too tired if you do it before.

exactly.. do it immediatley after your workout. However on days that you do not train, try to squeeze it in before breakfast.. first thing in the morning.
Good Luck

Well it looks like I have been doing this correctly then. I tend to warm up on the treadmill for about 10 minutes, do my wieght training, then back to the treadmill for a 25 minute walk. I amy start running next month, but because I haven't ran in a year, I thought it best to work to it again. What do you think, am I on the right track? Any suggestions are appreciated. Oh before I forget, how do I jump start my metabolism?
Thanks a lot,
Sidney

Sidney, why not fill out your showcase profile? It gives everyone a clearer picture of your goals and helps them give better answers. I think that maybe you should increase your cardio to 30 minutes. As Arnold said, doing cardio in the morning is very good and a great way to lose weight. Others here have also had success with HIIT or HIT training, can't remember the exact name. You can do a search for it, to find out what it is. Also, nutrition is very very very important.

Do HIIT to boost your metabolism.
Look under the articles and you'll find everything about HIIT.
Good luck.
