I am into the 8th week of my 12 week mass program and am seeing great results. If I added Animal Cuts to the picture (already have) is it possible to get some type of cut from doing the 12 week mass program? Meaning if I stick with mass building exercises will it help cut too? at all? maybe a little? LOL
Thanks, I hope I have not confused everyone so much that no one can even answer this post..LOL

I wouldn't think so because of the big differences in the exercises and weights, but this is a little steep of a question for me. One thing that concerned me when I was considering this issue was confusing my body. I didn't want to pull it in too many directions.

BQ, I think this would be counterproductive if your goal is to gain mass.

Thanks Robert and Cainsands. I also tossed out cardio, I stopped completly for about 2 weeks now and am putting on some pounds. Thats why I popped that question. I was thinking how to get some cuts while bulking.
Myabe I will strat doing some cardio 3 times a week again
Thanks

The last 2 weeks of the 12-week program is rest. You could probably do your cardio then, and even include Cuts...

I think I am getting some fat back since I went on mass, I haven't been doing cardio at all, so I'm going to start.

Yes.. do some cardio after the mass program.. you'll get rid of the fat mass that you gained and keep the new lean muscle mass hopefully.

Good Luck

Should I not do cardio during a mass program? I mean it doesn't make much sense for me to stuff myself all day long, then do cardio to create more work for myself! Do most builders only do cardio during the cut phase??

Cain, most bodybuilders have an "on" and "off" season. It's not uncommon for them to gain about 40-50 pounds during the off season, then melt it all down as they get closer to comp. If you aim to gain mass, too much cardio will be counterproductive.
