I've been training for a little while now & feel my chest is under developed.
Id like to add some size to make them look like slabs of steel!
They form a more rounded shape at the bottom & id like them to be more square.
Is this just the map my genetics have for me or is there a specific exercise(s) that could help me out with this?
Any help thanks,

Al.

Al - it also depends on your goals as far as getting bigger or leaner. Take a look at ft's exercise resources and there's a section on targeting specific muscles. There's also programs designed for just about anything you want to do. Genetics play a major part but to a point, you can shape the pecs like you want with different target angles.

Genetics plays a role in body building as you already know. Did you check out the rountines here at ft? Check out the exercises for chest under muscle targeting. I would also advise to perform some compund movements to bulk up your chest area (barbel incline and flat presses, dips ect). Have you signed up for a mass building program here at ft?
Hope this helps some, the others here at ft will be able to give you more info!
Good Luck

I recommend you use ft's chest mass program. I have seen great results from it. I never trained my chest in my life so I was pretty under developed, but after finishing that program my pecs are alot more like what they should be. They're not perfect..yet.

Well i'm not sure if this is correct at all.. but my chest kind of looked square like when all I did was bench press (and some minor.. VERY minor incline work).. I only started to have the bottom round off (and it still isn't very significant) after I started to do things like declines (bench/flyes/presses) and dips... so maybe if you cut out some decline work... but like I said.. i'm not sure as I like my chest rounding off at the bottom .. even though i'm still trying to even it out.. (both sides don't round off.. =/)
