what's up everyone? Next week i'm going on spring break to daytona beach which means no weight room. so my question is, is there something that i can do on this vacation to stay in some kind of shape or will i burn it all of at the night clubs. Sorry for such a stupid question but being in shape is a important part of me but anyways thanks for any sugestions you give me.

Welcome to ft, Serial! You can do non-weight exercises such as push ups, sit ups, pull ups, etc. You can also get a more extensive list of exercises here at ft.

Good luck and have fun during spring break!

hey there..

it all depends on you my friend. Is it possible to combine the parties with some physical fitness?? If you'll be drinking then there is really no point to training. Drinking usually takes anywhere from 1 to 2 days to get out of your system.. in terms of getting a valuable workout.

but since you mentioned it, the dancing is EXCELLENT cardio!

Have a blast.. we all need a break!

Do push ups....bring some type of weight that you can curl with....run when possible.

I travel quite a bit now and when I can't find a gym I use a tension band to at least help maintain tone. But - unless things have changed in the 30 yrs since I was at Spring Break, you won't be worried about working out for a few days. Enjoy yourself and have fun.

That's right! Early morning/late night runs on the beach are benefical in LOTS of ways.....however...you may want to just hang out and take some time from training...It IS called Spring BREAK for a reason!! I know it's difficult not to do any kind of physical activity (other than dancing and walking) but maybe your body needs this break..!

Hava a BLAST!!!
