Hi There
Currently I am workingg on a 5 day weight training schedule I am doing 5 or 6 days of light cardio too and trying to take in 2500 calories (The Ft calculator says 3400) Here is what I am doing, Can I do better, should I eat more?
Mon: Chest 20 min Cario Tues: Arms 30 min Cardio Wed: Shoulders 20 min Cardio Thur: Back 30 minutes Cardio Fri: 30 Min Cardio Sat: Legs 20 minutes Cardio Sun: off ( I am a minister you know)
I have had some good gains in the 2 months that I have followed this schedule, although I wonder if I could be doing better? Compound Movements might be better?
Thanks for the help

Ken, are you currently on an ft program? You may be overtraining here as when you work your chest, arms, shoulders and back on consecutive days, you are working your arms, too. You may want to do arms to Thursday and have Tuesday as your day off.
As far as the compounds movements, they help you gain mass. To view a list of compound exercises, go to the main menu then choose ft Exercise Resources, Muscle Targeting, then choose a muscle group.
Good luck!

Whn do you do your cardio? Do you do it alongside your workout? You may want to do cardio in the morning and workout in the afternoon and do just a ten minute warmup before your workout, that way you have your full strength do lift.

I would do upper body, lower body then upper body again to give the time to my muscles to rest.
A good idea thou is to sign up for a FT program.
Good luck.
