Im doing a freetrainers program and have noticed that exersizes for my chest muscles have different target reps To the others the target reps for most of my exersizes are roughly 20 15 12 10 but for exersizes on my chest the reps r roughly 15 5 4 3 im guessing this is because i chose the freetrainers special chest program but why does the reps on the chest program go so low in target reps, does lower reps and heavier weights increase the outcome of your workout? if so could you not do the same set of reps on everyexersize?

Since you have chosen to target your chest on your mass program, heavy compound exercises at the lower rep. levels will produce optimal results. Remember, the higher the number of reps. the lower the weights you'll end up using. Lower weights tone while higher ones build mass. I think you've answered your own question there.

You choose to target the chest, well FT just did what you wanted..... Less reps, heavier weight = more stress to the muscle (and more fibres destroyed) = muscle mass!!!
Don't forget to eat well thou.

Yes...all exercises should be done the same way (weights getting heavier with each set).

But don't end up overtraining thou. Don't always stress the muscles too much, it'll need to recuperate to be able to grow.

Each muscle group is different (some are larger and some are smaller)...so the number of reps. should always be different for each type of exercise.
