My program requires three sets of 15 of this exercise.Honestly it feels like Im wasting my time. I realize it is supposed to work my abs but I dont feel it does anything.Should I be adding an ankle weight? Anyone have any suggestions?I know Im using proper form.

Fan you know not everybody is the same, so sometimes some exercises work better for somebody else than you. We are lucky of getting this free help from FT, but don't forget that they make exercise programs in general for everybody. Now it's up to you to shape it after your body and your concerns.
If you feel nothing with lying front kicks (and you know that you do it right) then do another abdominal exercise where you feel it works. The time we have is crucial so don't waste time on anything that doesn't work for you.

ummm, I find lying front kicks incredibly hard. Even just keeping my leg up is damm hard. Next week I have to do 25 instead of 15, its gonna be impossible. Also when they say 15reps, it means 30 reps right cos 15 for each leg?

Yep, 15 per leg. That applies to twisty crunches too.

oh my gosh, i cant stand this exercise anymore. I dont really feel much contraction with this, not as much as crunches. However this exercise is the hardest damm ab exercise I ever done! My stomach feels like its in pain and although im breathing when I let my legs down im puffin like crazy. I think its more of the 'keep my legs off the ground' thats doing the hard work rather than the movement. Anyone got any tips for this exercise?
