hey guys ...

need to ask ... i heard that you need to take 2 weeks off of weights after working out for 3 months and then chang your workouts. i know that i need to chang my work out every once awhile but i'm not sure if it is any benefisial to take 2 weeks off..

Please let me know if you have any information regarding this.

I have never really taken any weeks off. Even when I'm on holidays I keep going on (too much energy I guess).
But it's true that you need to change your way of working out every once in a while otherwise you'll not getting any more progressions. Your body get very quick used to the exercises you do, the speed of the movement, the weight etc, so if you want to keep bulking up you need to provoke your body constantly.
I'm not talking about injuring yourself and always go to the limits, but simply change the exercises, the number of repetitions, the weight, the rest between the sets etc.
Use a week while taking extremely heavy then use two weeks taking less heavy but more reps, then another week working with the excentric part of the exercise etc.
