is it low in carbs?

From what I've seen everyone saying, if you eat before bed, make sure it's protein rich and low in carbs.

And your carb intake limit is? 50? 100? more? less?

If 13 g of carbs is pushing your limit on daily carbs, I wouldn't have it at night. If you want a protein shake before bed, find one low in carbs...

I don't think 13 g is a lot, as long as it fits in your diet I say go for it

If you are using whey protein then it's actually recommended to mix it with milk in your "before bedtime shake"....
Why? Because it slows down the protein absorbtion so you'll feed your muscles slowly and steady during the whole night.

Cheers jnellie (or should I say A VOTRE SANTE!! or...... SALUTE or...... CHIN CHIN!!! etc etc.... ;-)
