I read an article that said the RDA (Recommended Daily Allowence) of protien was something like 0.36 for normal people.. but for other people that workout or are really active the RDA would be something like 1.12 higher.. or 0.4036.. so if you still weigh 170 you should take in at very least 69g but then again its used to build, maintain, and repair your muscle tissue (read the ft section on protien/fat/carbs) so you could be hurting any muscle gains by not taking in a higher amount such as 1g or 1.5g per pound of body weight.. i'm not sure how ft gets its protien figure... try to follow the nutrition plan...

The more that you break down muscle tissue, the more you'll need proteins.

It all depends on every person, your level of activity, the sport that you are doing, the regularity, the rest in between each set, excentric or concentric work etc etc

VERY difficult to say excactly how much proteins you need, but yes if you want further results, you need more proteins....

Savageman, stick to 1-1.5g per pound of bodyweight. If you increase your instensity level, you're gonna need the proteins to build mass!
