I don't think so. I haven't been paying attention this year so I can't say anything.

You can say what you want, but it's gonna be very hard to beat the Lakers! If Boston makes it to the final, I say the Lakers would win 4-1...if not a sweep!

This summer I will be taking in a Mariners game in Seattle. I am actually going because my favorite team the Royals are playing. I will also be looking at some college campus.

My season was complete when I got to see an A's game in the skybox this year. That was cool. Now I just need to figure out a way to a steelers game...

Cain, are you a Steelers fan? I am a huge Steelers fan. Too cool. I have seen them play Baltimore each of the last 3 years. It's about 2.5 hours for me to Baltimore. Who happens to be my favorite Baseball team.

On the Lakers note, please, please somebody send them packing. Them and the Red Wings, and Yankees! It aint gonna be the Nets though, it is time to cut down them Nets tonight. Next year is the year. Jordan and the Wizards are gonna take the NBA by storm!

LOL! I am a Steeler fan starting from the Neil O'Donnell days. I'd like to see the Lakers win one more, just to break the Bulls threepeat. The Wizards suck.

Well, alrighty then. Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed, hmm? OK, the Wizards do suck, but Jordan was fun last year. I hate the Lakers- and most teams that win perennially through ***out pricing*** all of the competition (except the O's, because I grew up with them, so it is OK, plus they don't win much)

What do you mean? Cause I said the Wizards suck? I'm just disappointed because the games I watched they only got ahead while Jordan played, and everytime he went out they lost the lead. So should we kill Kordell??

I was joking Cain. I said that to see what responses it would generate. The Wizards were made better by Jordan's presence, but far from contenders.

Kordell is a tough one. As soon as you count him out, he comes alive. The big one though, man, he can't win the big one's! We have no one on the roster that can contend with him so it looks like it is his year again. I think this is it though, if he sucks or blows it again, we'll be drafting a quarterback next year. Cowher, is a players coach. He sticks with his guys to the point of error. We'll have to see....

I actually talked with a friend of mine about this last night. He has been a fan since the 70's, and he was saying that we were stuck with Kordell. (Same as you) I guess there isn't anyone good enough and available. WOuld've been interesting to see what Bledsoe could've done if we got him. If Kordell chokes again this year, I'm personally gonna find the guy and kick him in the knads.

I just read today that we have locked up Maddux, the backup for another 4 years. Security purposes. We also signed Terrance Mathis (wide receiver) from the Falcons. It is Kordell's year, but if he chokes you'll be standing in line behind some a** kicking Pittsburghians!

Seriously man. So after the last season what do you think about the bus? We did a lot better while he was injured. I think they limit their game too heavily on that guy. Leaves famous amos, and the others out cold.

Well, that is a good question too. We just signed Amos to 4 additional years at 8.8 mil. So we have committed to him as the heir apparent. I think when the Bus is healthy, you must go with him. He crushes defenses and opens up holes for Kordell. Yes, Fu and Amos carried us well too, but the BUS is the man. He was NOT 100% in the playoffs, the coach should have known or Bettis should have stayed out. It was a monumental mistake. As I said earlier, Cowher is a players coach (same with the firggin' kicker!), he sticks with his boys to the point of error.

How about the US in the World Cup! Second round! Damn, what an amazing way to get in.

Sorry don't watch Soccer. Caught the Red winds game though.
Eh, the bus is getting old. He hasn't really been that much of a performer for the last few years. Also handing the ball of to him every first down was a mistake.

I dunno man. With our line, a big man is good. He was the leagues top rusher through 6-7 games last season, until his injury and one of the top 3 the year before. Don't count him out yet, especially this year as we are returning everyone. He'll have another huge year if he is healthy.

See, I had the Stanley cup on, but it was a joke. It was all Detroit, completely predictable. That why I love soccer, this WC is awesome. We lost (were spanked) but Korea won and we're in. I don't think anyone saw this coming. Incredible. The only sport I don't like- at all- is NASCAR. Can't stand it!

The Patsy's got lucky jnellie. We'll see you WEEK 1 in NE for the re-match!

True. But we are looking so good. I mean, even without Kordell, we just look TOO good. NE hasn't lost much, but I feel this year is the one.

We signed Charlie Batch yesterday. He took almost nothing, becuase he is from Pitt and wanted to come home. Hmmm, the plot thickens. Kordell will definately be feeling a little pressure now.

batch was predicted to be a pretty good quarterback but not being surrounded by much in Detriot he never made anything. Dont look for any great things from him.

Should be interesting. I have read some things that have said Kordell has this year. If he bombs we may see more of Batch than expected. Here is a link to some damn good football info.

The easy pick would be the Lakers.
The contrarian pic would be the Mavericks (they're playing GREAT ball right now).
My pick is the Indiana Pacers! (unless Shaq's toe gets better)
