SandyQ Posts: 84 Joined: 2003/01/11	2003/02/19, 03:25 PM My husband uses it....and loves it. Myself, I used it a couple of times and got bored. I'm more of a gym person tho. (that's just my nature, I get bored easily). One of the parts broke and we emailed the company, their service was terrific!

bb1fit Posts: 11,105 Joined: 2001/06/30	2003/02/19, 10:49 PM I believe they have a recall going on for the total gym, exactly the reason Sandy Q states. One of the handles or something may break. Other than that, it actually is a very versatile piece of equipment. I had one lady who wanted me to train her only on it, so I did. You can do about anything, comes with a decent video, some "options" though you need to purchase separately. I am a gym person though myself. If you are new to training, this can work well for you. If you stay with it though, you will probably "outgrow" it and want a gym. -------------- Failing to plan is like planning to fail!
