Obviously it is time for me to change my arm routine...but not sure what the problem is but to identify - its the muscle in my upper part of my arm - thar runs down past the bicep (side??) - it feels stressed or "strained?". I know when I do the seated chest press (use 45 pds on each side) that I can't do it with my right arm because it starts to pull a muscle in that region...and ouch - can't lift!!! Sort of the same musle I feel when say sweeping the floor...just wondering what is good to do...ice or heat? and What sort of exercises will make it better..I hate to loose the gain I had on doing the chest press but I also know I need to stop DOING IT!

It's possible that you are going too far past parallel when doing the press. Use alternative exercises in the meantime (i.e. barbell press, inclined work, etc.). You may have just strained it, so rest is probably the best medicine. Apply some ice it if you happen to feel that pain again.

Glad to see you are still around workingoutgirl!
