Im new to this, im 6'5 and only weigh 160. I want to gain about 20-25 lbs. With my job its hard to sit and eat big meals 3 times a day. Any suggestions? Also, how do you know how much weight is too much?

Invest in some MRP's. Quick nutrition fast. This is a problem for lots of people, and this is an area where in my opinion MRP's really shine. Usually on the average a quick suppply of around 280 calories, 40 gr. protein, and 22 carb. Throw in a piece of fruit with it or something, and you are adding more nutrition. All you need is to invest $2.00 in a shaker cup, and have water available.

And MOst places give free shaker cups!
What do you mean by How much weight is too much? In body? Or in lifting?

mjmorris...Usually the weight one lifts is enough weight to give resistance, and give a little burn during the last 2-3 reps of a set. You said you are new to this, so try a few of the dumbells at different weight levels and see whats what. Only your body knows what it can do right now.
To answer your question on MRP's, that is Meal Replacements.
Not the ones like slimfast drinks, but higher quality like Myoplex or Labrada etc. These come in powder form and require a shaker. Check it out on line or at your local Pro-shop.
Hope this helps.
