Conditioning while losing fat is desirable. A load bearing reginmine along with cardio will get you in physical shape to do the rigors of intense weight training. The only time the combination should not be used is if strictly bodybuilding.

I got a little bit of fat so I was wondering should I focus on losing that before I start weight lifting or should I do cardio and weight lifting? I am going to take creatine and whey protein also.

Why are you even asking about supplements? Save your money. Eat a good diet, have your calories in order to meet your goals, and get your workouts in. Supplements will simply take your money. It is amazing how the 'industry' has people thinking they need to take something. All the while, they are taking something of yours. Your hard earned money.
