I intend to start regularly doing HIIT on non Gym/workout days. From what I understand, as a beginner, I will likely do a small warmup, then go to 1min Run/sprint and 1.5-2min walk/jog for a total of 20min, then a short cooldown 2-5min.
After a little while, I plan to switch to 1min Run/Sprint then 1min Jog/walk.
Now, I need a good way to workout the timing, and I think my Music would be a great way to do that. Does anyone have any great music mixes/tracks which are setup with good breaks. My thought is to have a good couple minutes of moderately paced music for the warmup, then some Uptempo music for the Intense Running, then something more mellow for the walking/jogging.
Of course, I have enough music that I can create my own mix, but If I can find something already created and liked, I would use it instead.
Any recommendations...

A minute is a long time to start with, try 15-30 seconds all out like someone is chasing you with a big knife...rest 45 sec to one minute in between (walking)...
sorry, I just make playlists on my ipod and go...

I guess I was a bit to optimistic thinking I could do a full 1min of Run/Sprint. Amy's recommended 15-30sec Sprint Times are much better and doable.
I guess I will have to mix my own tracks and put in some Timers so that I can easily keep track of how long to Run/Sprint and How Long to Walk/Jog. As I found out last night, the first few sprints were pretty easy, but the last few seemed to last forever, but in reality, were closer to 10sec than 15sec...
