Hi I'm 26yo 185lbs 5'85.. Ive been researching the site to start a new diet or just eat healthier in general.. Im going on vacation in two months so want to get a bit smaller, i used to be at 170lbs but quitting smoking and getting in a relationship screwed me up :)

So in case someone is looking at what to eat, im gonna post what i ate the last couple days, and i welcome criticism since IM trying to make a healthier lifestyle :)

7am - Protein shake, 1% milk 2 scoops protein, multivitamin, omega 3 pill
9am - Nature Valley Apple Cobbler bar
11am - Salad (lettuce, pepper, cucumber, onion, radish) with chicken breasts
1-2pm - Egg or Egg white(s), a few straberries/berries and a small yogurt
4-5pm - Yesterday i had beef top sirloin steak, celery with feta cheese dip from the health section, the day before chicken breasts with whole wheat rice

After that, I had more celery later at night cuz it was so good, dip bad.. the night before dont remember. I also got some "Veggie Chips" from the health section, 239 calories for 58 chips and low carbs/fat..

I got to admit its hard coming up with combinations of good food and avoid eating the same thing all the time, i need much more ideas, and actually im getting tired of eating all day long! But i already lost 2lbs since monday! (probably excess water/fat lol).

Oh yeah on monday i had a pudding thingy i think asimmer posted, 200g cottage cheese - 2tsp splenda - 3 tsp PB - 1/4 cup milk blended in the freezer for 2 hours.. not bad! i hate cottage cheese i think thats the most i ever ate in, its good it was kind of frozen and the pb gives it another taste..

I welcome anyyy suggestions for food i can add to diversify.. id love to hit 170 in two months..

we don't have that power..sorry

Are you in a rush in the morning or working out right away? I would add some good carbs like oatmeal to your morning meal. The second meal I would add some protein.

Are you going for a low carb diet _ it looks pretty low carb. How is your energy level? I would add in a little good, complex carbs and workout a little more.
