hello all and thank-you for taking the time to read this.
I have successfulll lost 38lbs the past year, and it is slowly creeping back on. I am 5'7 and currently 148 lbs. a I would like to get back to 133 lbs- ish when i felt fanntastic.. Since sept. I have gained 15 lbs back. when i have lost weight in the past, after I reach my goal I end u with strong sugar and carb cravings, like muffins, cakes etc.. and it is happening again
I have started back at the gym in a bootcamp sort of way. intense weight training 3x a week and cardio every day for 2 hours, 1hr, in the late morning and 1 hr at night, My diet is very clean, brown rice, salmon, salads, soy, veggies, fruit and healthy fats, i try to stay below 1700 cals a day, and stop eating around 7 or 8 pm. i feel exhausted, and late at the end of the day is when i want sugary carbs, and end up giving in, I crave coffee all day long. i feel like i am wasting all my time and energy. and my goal is not any closer than when i started.
what is a good amout of cardio to do? is this too much? i am willing to put in all the hard work, i just want to do it right and not waste time.
thank-you

Hello I don't know if this will help but the fact that you say you feel exhausted to me means that you aren't eating enough and burning too much. Therefore what you do eat your body is trying to store. Antoher reason you are probably craving sweets and carbs at night. Your body is telling you to feed it. On the days I work out I try to eat more so that my body has the fuel and energy it needs. Now eating more doesn't mean eating bad just increasing your caloric intake. On my days off I reduce my caloric intake.

For the amount of exercise you're doing, 1700 calories a day doesn't seem like enough. If you want coffee during the day, why not have a cup? Just use fat free, non-dairy creamer, and a packet of sugar substitute. Also how many times a day do you eat? You don't skip breakfast do you?
I really think you're doing too much. Try doing cardio in the morning and weight training at night. Or better would be to split your days up with weight training(followed by very moderate cardio, maybe 20 minutes or so) on one day, and cardio on the next day.
You are working so hard that I think your body is trying to hoard calories out of deprivation.
