Hey everyone. The company in which I work for has asked me to become a certified personal/fitness trainer, and they are covering the tab, up to about 750 bucks.
I am torn between ACE, ISSA, or NASM.
Does anyone have any opinions on which one carries a better reputation, which has better training materials, etc.

hmmmm. I'm going through issa and it cost like 625 for everything. Your company doesn't have a specific one they would like you to get? I also think one of are mod's went through issa. you could probaly search it though im sure this has been brought up before. If you decide to go through issa you should put me as your refferer ill get 25 big ones

dowd48, I read this message a few minutes too late. I just signed up with ISSA. My company gave me the options of ACE, ISSA, NASM, or NASM.
I was heavily leaning towards NASM, until I was told that they are now owned by the 24 Hour Fitness chain and there training program is now geared toward one model of training, as opposed to some others that are geared towards a few different models to fit each client.
My tuition game out to be 525.00 They are offering 100.00 dollars off for the month of May to celebrate there 20th anniversary.

Of the 3, ISSA is probably the most legit.
NASM is a joke, ACE isn't much better. If you can get it NSCA or ISSA are the way to go.

None fo the above. Stick with NSCA or ACSM.
