I've heard a lot about HIIT and have done my fair share of research on it. The biggest question I have is how long did it take for anyone to start seeing results from the training? I just started the workout and its really kicking my ass.
I'm doing a 8 week program as listed below. The workout includes a warm up and cool down.
Your results will vary along with anyone elses. It is hard to post a definite period, and this would actually be irresponsible on our part. Depending on your current level of conditioning, etc. However, a certainty on your part will be as you see progress in endurance, i.e...your active rest periods become shorter, your high levels become longer...this for instance is a direct indication that your endurance is vastly improving. Body composition changes will go along with your diet.
